LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech senior pitcher Amanda Renfro remained at the top of three national pitching categories in the NCAA statistics released Tuesday afternoon.

The Lutheran North High School product is tied with four others for most victories in the nation at 27. Alabama's Shelley Laird leads the country with 28 wins, while Renfro is tied with Iowa's Kristi Hanks, Cindy Bell of Pacific University and Louisiana-Lafayette's Melissa Coronado.

Renfro stands 20th this week in strikeouts per nine innings with 9.0, compiling 359 strikeouts in 280.1 innings so far this season. The 5-8 hurler has 39 more punchouts overall than category leader Nicole Myers of Florida Atlantic, who leads the nation in strikeouts per game at 11.4.

The Houston, Texas, native also re-entered the Top 50 in earned-run-average, lowering her overall ERA to 1.05 after this past weekend's pair of shutouts at Missouri. Renfro stands tied for 43rd with Sarah Martz of DePaul and Leighann Burke of Purdue, and is the only Big 12 pitcher in the Top 50 this week.

She is also one of only four pitchers in the ERA rankings with more than 200 innings pitched this season, with Erin Stemsterfer of Southern Illinois (219.1), Heather Schlictman of Arkansas (204.0) and Laird of Alabama (200.0) the only other pitchers with more than 200 innings.

The Red Raiders host Iowa State this weekend at Rocky Johnson Field on the Tech campus. Saturday's game begins at 1 p.m., while Sunday's contest starts at noon. Sunday's game will be Tech's last at home this season, and seniors Shauna Briggs, Sandy Butler and Renfro will all be honored during Senior Day activities.
