LUBBOCK, Texas - Due to wet contitions in the Lubbock are on Friday, the Texas Tech/Nebraska series opener has been delayed until 4 p.m.

The game was originally scheduled for a 2 p.m. first pitch but the decision was made late Friday night to delay the start time two hours in an effort to allow the field to dry as Saturday's forcast is for sunshine and temperatures in the 80's.

Tech enters the final weekend of the regular season in 10th place in the conference with a 13-37 record while Nebraska is 3rd in the conference at 40-11 and ranked 4th in the lastest NFCA Top 25.
