LUBBOCK, Texas - After finishing the regular season 21-39, 4-14, the Lady Raider softball team will head to the conference tournament to play Kansas (26-21, 4-14), tomorrow at 5 pm, in Oklahoma City, Okla. This is the second consecutive meeting for the teams as they met in the first round of the 2000 Big 12 Tournament, a 2-1 Kansas victory.

Tech ended the season with a win over Iowa State. Sophomore Kelly Rhyne hit a homerun to tie the game and a homerun to win the game. Rhyne holds an overall team high batting average of .317 while junior Lisa Lawler holds a conference team high batting average of .244.

The winner of the Texas Tech-Kansas game will advance to the championship bracket, playing # 1 seed Texas at 7 pm. Live stats and results for the tournament can be accessed at www.big12sports.com.
