The Texas Tech softball team will travel to Oklahoma City on Tuesday for the Fourth-Annual Big 12 Softball Tournament at the Don E. Porter ASA Hall of Fame Stadium.

Sixth-seeded Texas Tech (31-27, 6-7 Big 12) will take on third-seeded Missouri (37-17, 10-5 Big 12) at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Texas Tech enters this years Big 12 tournament on the heals of a 3-2 win over #21 Texas A&M on Sat, May 2.

Since the first year of the Big 12 tournament, the Red Raiders have had a tough time winning in Oklahoma City. The team has a tournament record of 1-4. Last season, Tech lost its first game of the tournament to Oklahoma State 0-1. In the second game, the Red Raiders rallied to defeat and eliminate Iowa State 3-1. In game three, the Red Raiders saw their 1998 season come to an end after falling to Texas 3-0. The Nebraska Cornhuskers went on to win the tournament title with a 3-0 victory over Oklahoma.
