Bledsoe Earns NFCA All-Region|

PALO ALTO, Calif.-Emily Bledsoe, on the strength of a team-leading .359 regular-season batting average, earned the NFCA All-Central Region's second team listing, it was announced today.
The all-region teams were chosen by NFCA member coaches (National Fastpitch Coaches Association) from each region, and all the honorees will now be eligible for selection to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-America first, second or third teams.
Bledsoe is the first Red Raider to be placed on the list since 2007's Ashley Parker.
The NFCA Division I All-American teams will be announced at 4 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, June 2.
Texas Tech is currently in Palo Alto, Calif. and will practice today in preparation for its first game at the NCAA Regional at Stanford. Game notes have been loaded to the weekly release link of the Web site, for your reading enjoyment.
No. 1 seed Hawai'i takes on No. 4 seed UC Davis to begin the event tomorrow at 5 p.m. (CT) and then No. 2 seed and host, Stanford, and the Red Raiders will square off at 8 p.m. (CT).
