LUBBOCK, Texas - Head Softball coach Bobby Reeves announced today the resignation of assistant coach Dave Feinberg. Feinberg, who served as hitting and outfielder's coach, leaves the program to pursue other coaching interests.

Feinberg came to Tech after serving as hitting and outfielder's coach at the University of Nevada-Reno during the 2000-2001 season, where the team finished first in the WAC in batting average and home runs. Other credentials include assistant baseball coach at UNLV and head coach at Arizona Western Junior College.

Reeves states that the program will miss Feinberg and he wishes him the best of luck.

"In the year that Coach Feinberg spent with the Lady Raiders as the hitting and outfield coach, we improved in both areas," said Reeves. "I wish him the best in his pursuit of other coaching opportunities."

Under Feinberg's guidance, the team improved in batting average, doubles, triples, homeruns and total bases.
