LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech softball will host a fall tournament this weekend in Sugar Land, Texas. The Red Raiders will face Sam Houston State and Texas State on Saturday (Sept. 27), and Houston and St. Mary's on Sunday (Sept. 28). All games will be played at Imperial Park.

The Red Raiders look to continue their winning ways during their fall season building off a 4-0 record after beating both Midland College and Lubbock Christian University twice during their fall scrimmages. Traveling to Houston has become somewhat of a fall tradition for Tech as this is the fifth-consecutive year it has played in the area.

Texas Tech will first play Sam Houston State on Saturday at 1 p.m., followed by Texas State at 3:30 p.m. Sunday the Red Raiders will face St. Mary's at 9:30 a.m., and Houston at 11:30 a.m.

Fall games do not count as part of the NCAA schedule of events; therefore official stats are not kept. Fans can follow the action via gametracker on the Texas Tech softball page at www.texastech.com.
