Boise State Slips By Women's Tennis

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The Texas Tech women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 match at the 9th Annual Coors Light Lady Lobo Invite to Boise State.

The two teams played to a 3-3 draw in singles action, as Eva Eguiguren, Christine Van Regenmorter and Lakshmi Ravindra recorded victories for the Lady Raiders.

Doubles play proved to be the decisive factor in the match, as Boise State took two of three contests to clinch the victory. Van Regenmorter and Misty Meyer recorded the only victory for the Lady Raiders in doubles competition.

Texas Tech fell to 2-3 on the year while Boise State improved to 1-1.

Texas Tech returns to the court Sunday for its final match of the tournament as it takes on Houston.
