Houston Drops Texas Tech, 7-2

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The Texas Tech women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 match at the 9th Annual Coors Light Lady Lobo Invite to Houston.

Texas Tech had a rough go off it in singles action, dropping 5-of-6 matches. Lakshmi Ravindra, playing in the No. 5 slot, recorded the lone singles victory for the Lady Raiders.

Doubles play wasn't too much better. Amanda Earhart and Eva Eguiguren knocked off Lucianne Kelbert and Kristen Paris, 8-3, notching Texas Tech's other point on the day.

Texas Tech fell to 2-4 on the year while Houston improved to 2-1.

Texas Tech returns to the court Feb. 19 when it hosts West Texas A&M.
