Rashmi Teltumbde led Texas Tech to the win, as the senior picked up a pair of victories on Sunday.

LINCOLN, Neb. - The No. 18 Lady Raiders easily captured its consolation match on Sunday, as Texas Tech dispatched host No. 25 Nebraska, 4-1, at the ITA Kickoff Weekend at the Nebraska Tennis Center.
Texas Tech improved to 8-14 all-time against Nebraska and snapped a three-match losing streak to the Cornhuskers. Tech's last win over the Huskers came on March 25, 2007.
Nikki Sanders and Rashmi Teltumbde got the day started for Texas Tech, as the tandem blanked the team of Lisa Andersson and Hannah Sulz, 6-0. The No. 25 tandem of Samantha Adams and Kenna Kilgo then bested Maggy Lehmicke and Mary Hanna, 6-2 to secure the first point of the day.
Sanders soon made it 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 3 over Hanna, while Adams followed suit with a 6-1, 6-3 triumph over Nebraska's Zeppernick.
The Cornhuskers picked up their first point of the day, as No. 63 Lehmicke upset No. 58 Kilgo, 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (10-6), to extend the match.
Teltumbde decided the match with a straight set, 6-3, 6-2 victory over Zgierska at No. 2 singles.
Texas Tech improved to 3-1 on the season and will continue its four-match road trips, as the Lady Raiders travel to Dallas on Saturday to face No. 52 SMU at noon. Texas Tech then heads to Williamsburg, Va., to face No. 41 William & Mary on Feb. 4 at 3 p.m. CT.
The win comes one day after No. 16 Vanderbilt topped Texas Tech, 4-1 in the first round of this event. Vanderbilt upended No. 19 Georgia Tech, 4-3, and secured a bid to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in February.
