Texas Tech women's tennis team fell short to #10 Arizona State in Phoenix on Saturday. ASU shutout the Red Raiders, 9-0. Tech's record falls to 1-4 on the year while #10 ASU improves to 5-1.

Position No. 1, Amanda Earhart, senior struggled with Allison Bradshaw losing 6-2, 6-0. Noel Ruiz in position No. 5 for Tech played tough against ASU. However, Ruiz lost to Mhairi Brown for ASU, 7-6, 6-1.

The women wrap-up a road trip in Arizona on Sunday, February 13 to take on the University of Northern Arizona.
