"It was a heartbreaker," stated head coach Cari Groce. "I feel for Lakann having to play in the last match. It's certainly tough to be the last one on the court, but it also can be a thrill. However, today was a total team effort. We played really well in doubles. I have been looking for our team to play in confidence and playing at home has fired them up. I am pleased we have played these Big 12 matches so well." The Lady Raiders will hit the courts again tomorrow, Sunday, March 27, at 9 a.m. at the Lubbock Country Club to face No. 50 Missouri.
