Women's Tennis Falls to TCU
March 27, 1998 FORT WORTH, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis squad fell to #23 TCU Friday 6-3 in Forth Worth in the team's first of three road matches this weekend. The #58 Red Raiders captured two doubles victories and just one singles win to move to 7-6 on the season. In the No. 4 singles position, senior Christine Van Regenmorter defeated TCU's Annika Tjellgren 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 to earn the point. Regenmorter teamed up with Lakshmi Ravindra to claim a 8-4 doubles win in the No. 2 slot. The pair of Zana Zlebnik and Amanda Earhart also dropped their opponents, winning 8-3. The Red Raiders continue play in Dallas Saturday, taking on SMU at 1:30 p.m.
