LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis team picked up its second Big 12 win of the season by defeating Iowa State, 6-1, earlier today. All of the Red Raiders' points were from singles play.

In doubles, the No.1 and No. 2 teams fell to Iowa State, but Tech's No. 3 tandem of Alenka Ovin and Kendall Brooks defeated Courtney Leese and Edna Vazquez, 8-4, improving to 11-4, 5-2 in Big 12 play.

The Red Raiders face the Nebraska Cornhuskers tomorrow in Lincoln, Neb., at 10 a.m.
