LUBBOCK, Texas - The Women's Tennis team had a disappointing final home match against Nebraska at the McLeod Tennis Center.

The Lady Raiders won the doubles point and one single match, but lost the remaining four single matches. Gitte Ostermann defeated Irina Tereschenko 6-2, 6-1. Beverly Dawson defeated Leslie Harvey 6-4, 6-1. Anna Oehme defeated Anchen Lombard 6-2, 7-6. Pamela Castillejos defeated Tara Browning 6-1, 6-0. Rebecca Harvey defeated Katja Kovacic 6-4, 6-4.

The doubles tandem of Irina Tereschenko/Beverly Dawson defeated Rose Ketmayura/Jen Baccarani 8-3. Kendall Brooks/Tara Browning defeated Gitte Ostermann Anna Oehme 8-5. Katja Kovacic/Anchen Lombard defeated Leslie Harvey/Jennifer Cremieux 8-3.

The women's tennis team will finish out the remainder of their season on the road. The Lady Raiders head to central Texas next weekend to compete in matches against Texas A&M and Houston. The team will play the Aggies on April 4 at 6 p.m. They will conclude the weekend against the Cougars at 11 a.m. on April 5.
