Women's Tennis Falls to 25th-ranked Texas A&M

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech womens' tennis team faced No. 25 Texas A&M at the McCleod Tennis Center, today, falling to the Aggies, 5-2. Tech picked up its two points in singles play from No. 1 Irina Tereschenko and No. 3 Barbara Schraml. Tereschenko defeated 105th-ranked Jessica Roland, 6-2, 6-3, and Schraml defeated Majorie Terburgh, 6-3, 6-4. In doubles play, Kendall Brooks and Alenka Ovin improved to 13-4, 7-2 in Big 12 play, by defeating Roberta Spencer and Majorie Terburgh, 8-2. Today's win was their fourth-straight in Big 12 play. Up next for the Red Raiders is New Mexico State on April 12 at noon at the McCleod Tennis Center. Results Singles
