LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech's freshman Stefanie Peana lost in the finals of flight B in three sets to conclude the final day of the Lobo Invitational women's tennis tournament held at Albuquerque, N.M.

Other Lady Raiders finished the weekend playing in consolation brackets. Natalie Leitch defeated Mackenzie White of New Mexico in three sets 6-4, 0-6, 6-2. Kelsy Garland beat Kansas' Ekaterina Morozova 6-4, 7-5.

Samantha van der Drift won her match over Irene Squillaci of Abilene Christian 6-3, 6-3. Simone Templeton beat Stacey Pinchbeck of Northern Arizona 6-2, 6-2. Lindsey Holcomb won 7-6, 6-3, over Sandra Walker of New Mexico.

Tech will next competition All-American Invitational held in Los Angeles, Calif., from Oct. 4th - Oct. 12th.
