LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis squad completed day two of the Roberta Alison Fall Classic this evening at the Alabama Tennis Complex. Tech advanced two of the four Lady Raiders in the championship match to the finals.

In singles play, the Lady Raiders advanced Cigdem Duru and Tara Browning to the final match in singles action. Duru defeated Ana Rupic of South Alabama (6-3, 6-3) and will face Zsuzsanna Fodor of Mississippi Sate, while Browning will battle Ashley Bentley of Alabama. Browning found herself in a tough match against Anastasia Kugakolova of Mississippi State. Browning lost the first set 5-7 but fought back to win.

Tech's Erin Hunter also found herself in a tough match against Louis Mississippi State's Polina Kokoulina. Hunter came into the match undefeated at 5-0 but suffered her first loss of the season losing to Kokoulina, 6-2, 6-3.

The Lady Raiders will conclude the Roberta Alison Classic tomorrow with match beginning at 8 a.m.
