FORT WORTH, Texas - The doubles tandem of Irina Tereschenko and Beverly Dawson suffered their first loss of the season in the semi-finals of the Omni Hotels Southwest Championships in Fort Worth.

Tereschenko and Dawson fell to Tulane's Kuhn/Smekodub 9-7 in a match that was played indoors due to heavy rains in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Tereschenko/Dawson are now 6-1 on the season.

The women's tennis team returns to action this weekend in Las Cruces, N.M. where they will take part in the New Mexico State Tournament.
