LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech women's tennis senior Samantha van der Drift and sophomore Kelsy Garland were ranked the 10th doubles team in the Southwest regional by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

The duo finished the fall season with a record 7-3. Van der Drift was named All-Big 12 last season, and Garland will be the No. 1 duo team for Tech this season.

Van der Drift is ranked 15th in the Southwest Region and will be the No. 1 singles player for the Lady Raiders this season. She finished the fall with a record of 10-5.

Tech will begin play on Fri., Jan. 23rd, hosting North Texas at the McLeod Tennis Center.
