Todd Petty has landed his third Top 20 recruiting class in five years at Texas Tech.

LUBBOCK, Texas – For the third time in five years, Texas Tech head coach Todd Petty has secured a Top 20 recruiting class, according to TennisRecruiting.net.
The Lady Raiders’ 2014 recruiting class is ranked No. 12, which is the highest ranking in program history. Texas Tech was ranked No. 16 last season and No. 19 in 2010.
Petty announced the signing of a pair five star recruits - Sarah Dvorak and Katelyn Jackson – in November.
Dvorak, who is a five-star blue chip signee, is the highest rated incoming freshman signee in program history. She is the No. 1 player in her home state of Hawai'i and the No. 23 player nationally, according to TennisRecruiting.net.
Jackson, who is another five-star signee, is another highly touted incoming freshman signee to commit to Texas Tech. She is the No. 1 player in the state of Arkansas and the No. 49 player nationally, according to TennisRecruiting.com.
The No. 12 recruiting class is the highest rated class in the Big 12 and one of only two ranked in the Top 25, joining No. 18 Baylor.
