LUBBOCK, Texas - Energized from taking a week off, the women's tennis team travels to Dallas/Fort Worth for their final pair of non-conference matches. The Lady Raiders will take on No. 62 SMU on Fri., Feb. 29, and No. 31 TCU on Sat., March 1, both matches beginning at noon.

Last time out the team traveled to Provo, Utah, where they came up short against ranked Boise State, 5-2, and BYU, 4-3. Tech had two players go undefeated on the weekend as senior Janet Durham and sophomore Kerryn Potgieter held down positions four and five. Potgieter leads her team in singles as the only undefeated player with an 8-0 duals record.

Scouting the opponents, Tech goes into the match as the underdog against the Mustangs who dominate the series over the Raiders 21-1. The history between the Horned Frogs and the Lady Raiders is not as established, as Tech holds the 1-0 advantage.
