LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis team will face off against Abilene Christian Wed., March 3, at 2 p.m. This will be the first home match for the Lady Raiders at the McLeod Tennis Center.

"I think the players are very excited to play at home," said head coach Cari Groce. "You want to go out and showcase your team in front of the home crowd. The players are very excited about playing in front of Raider fans."

Sophomores Katja Kovacic and Tara Browning are currently the Lady Raiders' number two doubles team and recently earned a national ranking of No. 48.

The Lady Raiders' spring record is 3-2 and 0-1 in Big 12 Conference play. The team will play its next conference match in Lubbock on March 6 at noon against Kansas State.
