COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis team fell to 34th-ranked Texas A&M University on Monday by a score of 8-1. The loss drops Tech to 4-12 overall (2-5 in Big 12).

Sophomore Alenka Ovin continued her strong play with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Lisa Dingwall at No. 2 singles for Tech's only win of the match. The Aggies won the other five singles matches and swept the three doubles contests. A&M freshman Martina Nedorostova, ranked No. 61 nationally defeated the Red Raiders Zana Zlebnick 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles.

The Red Raiders will be in action again Tuesday, March 30 at Baylor University. The start time has yet to be announced.
