LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis team will head back out on the road this weekend to take on two very tough conference opponents. The Lady Raiders will compete against Iowa State on Sat., April 10, at 11 a.m., and then head to Nebraska on Sun., April 11, where they will play the Cornhuskers at 10 a.m.

The Lady Raiders are coming off of a tough two-match weekend where they lost to No. 14 Texas A&M Friday, and knocked off Oklahoma State Saturday, moving Tech's spring record to 10-6 and 3-4 in Big 12 Conference play. Tech hopes to extend its overall spring and conference record this weekend against Iowa State and Nebraska.

"Both are conference opponents and that says a ton," said head coach Cari Groce. "Nebraska is very tough and we will need to be on top of our game to have success against both Iowa State and Nebraska."

The Lady Raiders return to the McLeod Tennis Center on Sun., April 18, where they take on Oklahoma at 10 a.m. in their final home match of the season.
