Lady Raiders Hold Steady At No. 15, Red Raiders Slip To No. 44|

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech Lady Raider tennis team held steady at No. 15, while the Red Raider men's tennis team fell to No. 44 in this week's Intercollegiate Tennis Association Top 75 poll released Tuesday.
The Lady Raiders (15-4, 5-0 Big 12) are coming off of consecutive wins over Top 25 foes in No. 25 Oklahoma State and No. 24 Texas. The Texas Tech women are riding a six-match winning streak. The Lady Raiders have been ranked in the Top 25 for 34 consecutive matches, the longest streak in school history.
The Red Raiders (14-7, 0-1 Big 12) dropped a pair of matches to No. 22 Tulsa, 4-3, and No. 15 Baylor, 6-1. The Texas Tech men have been ranked in the ITA Top 75 for 288 consecutive matches, dating back to March 10, 2002.
Individually, Samantha Adams jumped from No. 117 to No. 94 in the ITA Top 125 singles rankings. She is 14-16 on the season.
In doubles, the tandem of Adams and Kenna Kilgo jumped from No. 27 to No. 13 after upending No. 48 Kanyapat Narattana and Malika Rose of Oklahoma State and then rolling past No. 16 Breaunna Addison and Noel Scott of Texas. The Texas Tech duo is 19-6 on the season and has won 11 straight matches.
