NORMAN, Oklahoma - The Texas Tech women's tennis team fell to the University of Oklahoma by a score of 7-2 on Saturday.

The loss was Techs 10th straight dropping their record to 2-9 in the Big 12 (4-16 overall).

Individually, sophomore Alenka Ovin was involved in both wins for Tech. She defeated Viviana Mracnova at No. 2 singles 6-4, 3-6, 6-4. Ovin also teamed with fellow sophomore Zana Zlebnik to win the No. 1 doubles match against Raluca Gheorghe and Danielle Knipp 9-7. Ovin improved her singles mark to a team best 13-7 (6-5 in Big 12).

The Red Raiders will be in action again Thursday, April 23 at home against Tyler Junior College. No start time has been announced.
