LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis doubles team of Beverly Dawson and Irina Tereschenko have earned a bid for the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championships, which was released today by the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Committee.

Dawson and Tereschenko will begin competition on Monday, May 19th at the Linder Stadium at the Ring Tennis Complex in Gainesville, Fla., hosted by the University of Florida. The championships for doubles consists of 32 doubles teams which will compete in one draw with single elimination.

Dawson (Odessa, Texas) and Tereschenko (Moscow, Russia) were named All-Big 12 earlier this week and will be competing in their first NCAA Championships. The duo currently holds a 13-3 spring record as Tech's No. 1 doubles team.
