LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech women's tennis squad, due to Hurricane Ike, will be travelling to the Lobo Invitational held by New Mexico University in Albuquerque, N.M., for matches this weekend.

The Lady Raiders will compete in singles and doubles action against New Mexico, University of Denver, Kansas, Northern Arizona, Abilene Christian and New Mexico State.

Tech will be looking to get back on track after last week's North Texas Invite was shortened due to bad weather. The little the Lady Raiders were able to play saw junior Kerryn Potgieter and freshman Lindsey Holcomb win their first two matches in their respective singles draw.

The Lobo Invitational will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting everyday at 9 a.m. local time.
