BALTIMORE, Md. - Texas Tech women's tennis player Zana Zlebnik (Maribor, Slovenia) was defeated today in the first round of main draw play at the National Clay Court Championship. Zlebnik fell to eigth-seeded Dora Djilianova of Fresno State 6-2, 6-1. It was Zlebnik's first match of the fall.

She now drops to the consolation round of the championships. First round consolation play will begin on Friday at 8:30 a.m.
