Rashmi Teltumbde begins play at the Riviera ITA All-American on Saturday.

LOS ANGELES – Texas Tech’s Rashmi Teltumbde begins play in the pre-qualifying portion of the Riviera/ITA All-American Women’s Tennis Championships on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the LA Tennis Center.

Teltumbde, who is ranked No. 105 in the nation, will face New Mexico’s Michaela Bezdickova.

Tech’s Samantha Adams is entered in the qualifying round of the event’s singles competition, while Adams and Kenna Kilgo are in the main draw of the doubles competition.
