Texas Tech volleyball squad to play two matches on Fox Sports

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Big XII Conference along with Fox Sports Net announced Thursday that two Texas Tech volleyball games will be telecast live on national Fox Sports Net affiliates including the November 8 matchup with Texas and the November 21 home match against Nebraska. In addition, Fox Sports Net will televise eight other Big XII Conference matchups.

"We are pleased to continue our relationship with Fox Sports Net in telecasting Big 12 volleyball," Big 12 Assistant Commissioner Dru Hancock said. "Not only do we have four teams ranked in the preseason polls, but our conference has six NCAA Tournament participants back to contend for the title. We anticipate some great matchups."

Last season, Texas Tech was one of six Big 12 Conference schools to earn an NCAA Volleyball tournament berth. The Red Raiders finished last season with a 25-9 overall record and 12-8 Big XII record.
