USA National Team-Texas Tech Volleyball Match Cancelled
Red Raiders Host Kansas State on Friday and Kansas on Saturday
LUBBOCK, Texas - The USA National Team-Texas Tech volleyball match, which was postponed Monday and tentatively rescheduled for Thursday has been cancelled, Texas Tech officials announced at 3:30 p.m. today. The match, originally scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Monday at Lubbock's Municipal Coliseum, was tentatively postponed until Thursday, Oct. 30 in hopes that the USA National Team could book a flight to Lubbock on that date.
Flights out of Colorado have been overbooked because of blizzard conditions in Colorado. The USA National Team's flight to Lubbock on Monday was cancelled because of delays due to the extreme weather conditions. The match was scheduled to be broadcast on tape delay on Lubbock's KLBK-TV (Channel 13) Sunday, Nov. 2 at 12:00 noon.
Fans who purchased tickets to the USA-Texas Tech volleyball match can receive a refund at the Texas Tech ticket office with the return of their tickets.

The Red Raiders also got a taste of the Colorado blizzard conditions as the team was stuck in Boulder on Friday following a 3-1 victory against Colorado. Tech was forced to stay an extra day in Boulder on Saturday as its match at Nebraska was cancelled. The Red Raiders arrived in Lubbock at 5:00 p.m. Monday morning after the team was forced to drive back to Texas.
In other news, the Texas Tech volleyball match at Texas has been moved to 3:00 p.m. because of the Texas Tech-Texas football game.
