2010 (Senior): A regular in the lineup having appeared in all but three matches, while making four starts ... posted a season-high .389 hitting percentage against SMU, finishing with nine kills off 18 chances ... had possibly her best performance of her Tech career two matches later against Texas State ... recorded career highs for kills (17) and attacks (42) to lead Tech to a 3-2 victory over the Bobcats ... added another strong outing versus Oklahoma with eight kills and a .368 percentage ... snapped her career high for digs against Texas A&M with seven ... also added her first ace since the 2007 season against the Aggies ... recorded seven kills in the five-set loss to Colorado ... finished the year with her highest number of kills since her freshman season ... an all-around student-athlete who also worked for the Texas Tech school newspaper, The Daily Toreador, as a features reporter throughout the year ... named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team.

2009 (Junior): Appeared in 40 sets in 19 matches ... best match was at Tulsa when the outside hitter belted 5 kills and committed no errors, hitting for a .714 average and at No. 8 Nebraska with 7 kills and a .188 hitting efficiency... had a season-high 8 kills at Colorado... has collected 10 block assists, including 4 at Colorado, also had a block solo in that match... currently has a 1.22 kills per set average... was nominated for the CoSIDA Academic All America honor and earned first-team All Academic Big 12 honors.

2008 (Sophomore): Averaged 1.46 kills per set at the outside hitter position, with 67 on the season good for a .149 average ... had 8 total blocks, 2 solo ... impressively, she was one of five student-athletes in the Big 12 to earn a perfect 4.0 in achieving first-team academic honors.

2007 (Freshman): As a freshman, was fifth on the team in kills-per-set with 1.91 ... had four matches with double-digit kills ... set a career high in kills with 15 against Syracuse ... career high in blocks with four against Oklahoma ... had a brilliant career-high hitting night versus Arizona State with a .500 clip.

Bartlesville High School: Had an outstanding prep career in Bartlesville, Okla. with the Bruins ... an outside hitter, was a three-time all-conference honoree ... received all-state and academic all-state honors ... Jim Thorpe Award winner and a state finalist for the Wendy's High School Heisman Award.

Amateur: Played for the Tulsa Volleyball Club.

Personal: Born Aug. 5, 1989 in Lubbock, she has come home to compete, so to speak ... daughter of Ron and Sue Courtney ... father graduated from Texas Tech, and mom graduated from Oklahoma ... has two younger brothers, Spence (who will enter OU in the fall) and Richard, and a younger sister, Veronica ... enjoys running, reading, movies, traveling and playing either the guitar or piano ... majoring in pre-law she aspires to attend law school with hopes of practicing international law and possibly becoming either a politician or a political analyst.
