Another Lubbock native. Her long arms make her good at blocking balls. Will have to train at a higher level than in the past, but has great potential to develop into a great college player.

2002: Saw action in nine games over eight matches including four Big 12 matches...tallied two of her four kills on the season against Hofstra at the Hofstra/Asics Classic...other two kills came against Oklahoma, once at home and once on the road...recorded a solo block and a block assist.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2002 graduate of Lubbock High School in Lubbock, Texas…lettered in two sports for the Westerners, volleyball and golf…voted to the second team All-District…named to the All-City Team…nominated as the Best Offensive Player for Lubbock High…led team in kills and blocks during 2001 season…was a symphony Debutant for LSO…attends Indiana Ave. Baptist Church.

JUNIOR EXPERIENCES: Played club volleyball for Texas Power 18’s…team qualified for USA Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships in 2001 and 2002.

PERSONAL: Born on July 19, 1984 in Lubbock, Texas to Michael and Dyann Halley…father is a manufactures rep at mechanical engineering firm…both parents are Texas Tech Alumni…is the youngest of two children with an older sister, Sandi (22)…hobbies include equestrian (hunter/jumper/cross country), snowboarding and skiing, and fly fishing…majoring in mechanical engeering.
