Sherman ... also participated in FCA, Baptist Student Union, emerging leaders and worked at an animal shelter.

High School: A 1996 graduate of Los Alamos High School in Los Alamos, N.M. where she played volleyball for Sally Shozky and basketball ... named a New Mexico All-Star and was selected to play in the North-South All-Star Game ... named All-District in 1995 ... selected for Santa Fe All-Area team ... led Los Alamos to Class 3A district and state championship as a senior ... team won district title all three years that she played ... team finished state runner-up two times.
