FRESHMAN SEASON (2012)
Helped boost Tech's production in the middle in her first season ... appeared in 28 matches while making 24 starts ... was a regular in the rotation, playing in 99 total sets ... finished with 178 kills to go along with 12 service aces, 38 digs and a team-high 71 blocks ... was one of six Red Raiders and three freshman to finish with more than 100 kills ... averaged 1.80 kills per set ... recorded 456 attacks, fifth most on the team ... her .274 hitting percentage was second-highest on the squad behind only Aubree Piper ... ranked among the top 10 in the Big 12 for hitting percentage during the majority of the season ... her 12 service aces were the most for a Red Raider who was not a setter or defensive specialist ... was fourth on the team in aces overall ... recorded just five service errors, the fewest for regular servers who played in at least 50 sets ... finished in double digits for kills six times on the year ... set her career high in kills on Sept. 14 with 11 against Houston Baptist ... also hit a season high .526 in the match after going 11-for-19 on the attack with one error ... followed the performance with 11 kills again the following day against Cal State Northridge ... the Houston Baptist started a five-match stretch where she was in double digits for kills ... also recorded 10 kills against Rice and Nevada and then 11 in the Big 12 opener against Kansas ... recorded 11 kills one more time on Oct. 2 at Central Arkansas ... was Tech's primary blocker during much of Big 12 play ... notched four or more blocks in four of her 12 conference matches ... set her career high with six blocks against Siena on Aug. 25 ... matched the total three more times on the year - Sept. 1 against Northwestern State, Sept. 14 against Houston Baptist and Oct. 31 at Oklahoma ... recorded nine kills and five blocks in Tech's near upset of No. 14 Kansas State on Oct. 20 ... followed up with nine kills against in a home win over West Virginia on Oct. 27 ... was one of six Red Raiders to record 100 or more kills, marking the first time Tech has shown such a balanced offense since 2001.
