FAIRFAX, Va. - The Texas Tech women's volleyball team improve to 2-0 with a three-game sweep (15-10, 15-8, 15-10) of Maryland-Baltimore County Friday morning on the campus of George Mason University as part of the Brion's Grill/Patriot Invitational. Tech posted a match attack percentage of .304 compared to UMBC at .172. Tech senior Kristen Holmes paced the Red Raiders with 17 kills for a .464 attack percentage. Senior setter Lisa Hilgers recorded 46 assists and six digs for Texas Tech.

Tech continues play in the Brion's Grill/Patriot Invitational with a match against Liberty early Friday evening in Fairfax.
