LUBBOCK, Texas - Texas Tech volleyball was unable to recover from dropping the first two sets of its third match of the Red Raider Round Up presented by Aim Bank, as New Orleans beat the Red Raiders (25-21, 25-15, 27-29, 25-18).

The woes for Tech started in the first two sets as they hit a .111 and a .077 attack percentage losing 25-21, 25-15. The Red Raiders rallied back in the third set using a .500 attack percentage, but was couldn't keep the momentum as it dropped the final set 25-18.

Three Red Raiders had double digit kills as Brandi Hood, Amanda Dowdy and Michelle Flores had 13,12 and 11 kills respectively. Hood also finished the game with a .500 attack percentage.

Tech will continue Big 12 play on Wednesday against Baylor and then head to the Lamar tournament starting on Friday.
