TEXAS TECH TEAM NOTES The match was the second all-time between Texas Tech and Cal State Northridge as the Red Raiders had previously swept the Matadors in straight sets on Aug. 31, 1990, during the season opener at the Arizona State Tournament. Texas Tech finished with a season-low .103 hitting percentage. The Red Raiders had hit below .200 only once previously this season - Aug. 25 against Boston College where Tech recorded a .182 average. The Red Raiders committed 21 attacking errors in the match, marking Texas Tech's most in a three-set contest this year. Texas Tech trailed in hitting percentage for only the second time this season.
