Tech Shutout by Top-Ranked Huskers|

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Texas Tech volleyball squad fell in three games to the No. 1 Nebraska Cornhuskers in Lincoln, Neb., on Saturday. The Red Raiders now fall to 7-6 overall and 0-4 in conference play. Nebraska remains undefeated on the season with an 11-0 record, 4-0 Big 12. The Huskers handled Tech with scores of 30-27, 30-17, 30-24.
The Red Raiders were out-hit by Nebraska .104 to .317. As a team, Tech tallied 38 kills with 25 errors on 125 total attempts. Philister Sang led the effort for the Red Raiders with 13 kills on .211 hitting. Sang added 10 digs to tally her fifth double-double of the season. Emily Ziegler led with 21 assists, while Holly Hicks recorded 12. Sang and Alicia Ostmeyer each knocked down three blocks. Kiley Lyons registered nine kills along with two of the Raiders' three aces.
