TEXAS TECH MATCH NOTES Despite the loss, Texas Tech still controls the overall series with a 49-23 all-time advantage against Baylor, including a 17-14 lead in matches played in Waco. Baylor has now won 15 of the last 16 matches between the two schools. The loss was Texas Tech's eight-straight when playing Baylor in Waco. With the loss, the Red Raiders have now lost nine-straight matches as Texas Tech's last win came Sept. 14 in a 3-2 victory over Houston Baptist. Texas Tech was previously 8-2 this year when winning the opening set. The Red Raiders also fell Sept. 19 at Nevada and then last Saturday against No. 22 Iowa State. The Red Raiders were held to a .065 hitting percentage, their lowest average of the year. Tech had previously hit under .100 just once this year - Sept. 22 against Kansas.
