LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball squad fell to rival Texas A&M in three sets (25-15, 25-14, 25-16) as the Aggies had a.387 hitting percentage for the match.

The Red Raiders (5-14, 0-8) struggled in the first set as the Aggies (9-8, 4-3) hit .312 as a team and won the set 25-15. Tech was only able to hit a .029 percentage in the second set losing 25-14. The same problems arose in the third set for the Red Raiders as it only has a .057 hitting percentage as the Aggies won 25-16.

Tech was led by middle blocker Amanda Dowdy with 11 kills. Freshman Karlyn Meyers recorded 22 assists and six kills for the match. Libero Jenn Harrell finished the match with 11 digs.

Texas A&M was led by Jennifer Banse with 12 kills.

The Red Raiders return to action Wed., Oct. 15th in Ames, Iowa against Iowa State at 7 p.m.
