Brummitt snapped the Texas Tech single-season digs record early in the first set that was previously held by Melissa McGehee
, who totaled 447 digs in 2000. Brummitt closed the night with 12 digs, giving her 459 now on the season.
David finished with a career-high 19 kills against the Horned Frogs, snapping her previous mark of 17 that she set on Oct. 1 last year in a five-set loss to Oklahoma.
The sophomore also snapped her season high of 16 kills against North Texas earlier this year as she was in double digits for the third time in Texas Tech's last four matches.
The performance marked the fifth time this season a Texas Tech player has recorded 19 or more kills in a match. It was also the most kills for a Red Raider in a three-set match this year as well.
David's outing left her tied for third in the Big 12 this year for most kills in a three-set match.
Grant connected on a career-high with six kills, snapping her previous mark of five that she set Oct. 27 in a five-set loss at Kansas State.
