LUBBOCK, Texas - Libero Jenn Harrell recorded seven digs to reach 1,000 digs for her career to move into 14th all-time in Texas Tech volleyball history, but No. 4 Texas swept Red Raiders (25-9, 25-20, 25-15).

Harrell's seven digs give her 1,002 for her three-year career. She is only 41 digs away from Kim Gosselin to move into 13th all-time.

Tech (5-22, 0-16) hung with No. 4 Texas (20-3, 13-2) early as it was tied 4-4 on a kill from outside hitter Becca Baldwin. The Red Raiders struggled in the set only hitting a .033 percentage as the Longhorns finished the match on a 21-5 run to win the set 25-9.

The Red Raiders jumped out to a quick 3-1 lead on two-straight attack errors. Texas took the lead back and pushed it 10-7. Tech fought back on kills from middle blocker's Amanda Dowdy and Brandi Hood to tie it at 10-10. The Red Raiders fell behind and couldn't regain momentum losing 25-20.

Three-straight assisted blocks by setter Karlyn Meyers and Hood kept the Red Raiders alive in the third set. Meyers finished the match with five-total blocks. A service ace by Baldwin kept it close 16-13, but Texas showed its dominance final set 25-15.

Outside hitter Hayley Ball led the Red Raiders with five kills.

Texas' Juliann Faucette led the team with 11 kills.

Texas Tech returns to the United Spirit Arena on Wed., Nov. 19th, for a match with Baylor.
