• Texas Tech's .217 hitting percentage marked its second-highest during Big 12 play this year. The Red Raiders also recorded a .273 average Oct. 27 against West Virginia.
• Texas finished with a .483 hitting percentage, the highest for a Tech opponent in school history. The previous school record was also set by the Longhorns as Texas hit .472 on Oct. 10, 1986, in Austin.
• The Red Raiders were previously 12-2 this year and 25-6 under head coach Don Flora when hitting at least .200 in the match.
• The loss dropped Texas Tech to 0-5 this year against ranked opponents and 0-10 under Flora. It was also the first time the Red Raiders have faced a top-five ranked team under Flora.
• Texas Tech's two blocks matched its season low that was originally Sept. 22 against Kansas.

Miara Cave
• Cave recorded a team-high .500 hitting percentage, her highest this season during Big 12 play, after totaling nine kills from the right side.

Emily Ehrle
• Ehrle finished with 10 kills in the match as she returned to double digits since connected on 12 careers Oct. 10 at Baylor. Her .259 hitting percentage was also her second-highest during Big 12 play this year.

Rachel Brummitt
• Brummitt finished with nine digs in the match to move her season total to 468. The sophomore previously broke the Texas Tech single-season record on Nov. 7 against TCU.

Aubree Piper
• Piper was inserted into the match when the Red Raiders trailed 20-14 in the third set and immediately connected on a kill before being replaced prior to serving. Piper's return was her first action since Oct. 2 when Tech traveled to face Central Arkansas.
