TEXAS TECH TEAM NOTES Texas Tech's .217 hitting percentage marked its second-highest during Big 12 play this year. The Red Raiders also recorded a .273 average Oct. 27 against West Virginia. Texas finished with a .483 hitting percentage, the highest for a Tech opponent in school history. The previous school record was also set by the Longhorns as Texas hit .472 on Oct. 10, 1986, in Austin. The Red Raiders were previously 12-2 this year and 25-6 under head coach Don Flora when hitting at least .200 in the match. The loss dropped Texas Tech to 0-5 this year against ranked opponents and 0-10 under Flora. It was also the first time the Red Raiders have faced a top-five ranked team under Flora. Texas Tech's two blocks matched its season low that was originally Sept. 22 against Kansas. Miara Cave Emily Ehrle Rachel Brummitt Aubree Piper
