Tech Takes Two

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Texas Tech women's volleyball team won its first two games at the Air Force Volleyball Classic Friday night, defeating Denver 3-0 (15-7, 15-3, 15-7) and sweeping Air Force 3-0 (15-12, 15-1, 15-10).

Brande Brown led the way for the Red Raiders in both matches, recording 19 kills against Denver and 14 kills against Air Force. Texas Tech had solid hitting all around all day, hitting above .300 in both matches.

Texas Tech will try to claim its third tournament title of the season as it closes tourney play tomorrow with matches against Hofstra and William & Mary.
