LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball team arrived in Hawaii Monday for a week-long training session where the Red Raiders will also play a pair of exhibition matches.

Tech will face Hawaii-Pacific on Wednesday evening and then nationally-ranked Hawaii on Friday. The Rainbow Wahine advanced to the second round of last year's NCAA Tournament where Hawaii narrowly fell to Washington in five sets.

"We're excited to see this team develop and continue to grow this week in Hawaii," Tech head coach Don Flora said. "Hawaii is such a great place to visit and we hope that this is a real team-bonding environment for our athletes. We'll also have a couple competitive matches as well, so I'm interested to see how we perform in this environment."

On top of their two matches, the Red Raiders will train and continue their spring workouts while also touring various spots on the island.

Both matches are set to begin at 1 a.m. CT. Friday's match against Hawaii will have live stats at
