Tory Vaughan and the Red Raiders will host their annual spring tournament Saturday.

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball program will host its annual spring tournament Saturday, beginning with a 9 a.m. scrimmage against West Texas A&M at the United Spirit Arena.

The tournament portion of the day will begin at 1 p.m. with Tech taking on Abilene Christian in the practice gym. The Red Raiders, who will be occasionally split into split squads, will play a match on the hour up until their 5 p.m. finale against Angelo State.

Tech will be hosting a total of eight area colleges, including West Texas A&M, Frank Phillips, Angelo State, Wayland Baptist, New Mexico Military Institute, Western Texas, Odessa College, and Abilene Christian.

Head coach Don Flora returns 12 letterwinners from last season's 15-17 squad and has added two transfers already this spring in Rachel Brummitt and Tori Jobe. Kelly Chiffer and Ciara Gibson will see their first action as Red Raiders as well after both players redshirted the 2011 season.

The United Spirit Arena doors will open at 8:30 a.m. with all fans being admitted free of charge. Tech will take a two-hour break in between its 9 a.m. scrimmage and the start of the tournament.

9-11 a.m. - Texas Tech vs. West Texas A&M
1 p.m. - Texas Tech vs. Abilene Christian
2 p.m. - Texas Tech "Red" vs. Wayland
2 p.m. - Texas Tech "Black" vs. New Mexico Military Institute
3 p.m. - Texas Tech vs. Frank Phillips
4 p.m. - Texas Tech "Red" vs. Odessa College
4 p.m. - Texas Tech "Black" vs. Western Texas
5 p.m. - Texas Tech vs. Angelo State
