April 13, 2012

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech volleyball program resumes its spring slate Saturday with a trip to nearby Ruidoso, N.M. to battle UTEP in an exhibition match and also host a clinic for area athletes.

After the two teams practice together in the morning, Tech and UTEP coaches and players will hold an hour-long clinic for area athletes that will be immediately followed by a two-match between the two programs.

The clinic is set to begin at 11:30 a.m. (MT) Saturday morning with the exhibition match following shortly after with a 1 p.m. start time. Both events will be held at Ruidoso High School.

Tech will be competing for the third time this spring as the Red Raiders have participated in a tournament already in Lubbock while also traveling two weeks ago for an event at the University of New Mexico.
